AWANA is a program dedicated to reaching the children of our community with the message of Jesus Christ.
The AWANA year normally runs September-May. AWANA dates and activities are included in the church calendar. The AWANA Commander is Pastor, Isaac Hoard. The AWANA program is free to the community and follows the public school schedule fairly closely (September - May).
The AWANA mission is to teach our children how to stand on the Bible and show them just what it means to NOT be ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We welcome the opportunity to train your children ~ Give FBCC a call with any questions or concerns. 541-469-2014

AWANA is a ministry program for youth that has been in existence for 60+ years. It is their goal to assist churches in reaching the children in the community, teaching them that at the core: Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Over the years FBCC has been able to offer a strong AWANA program supported by our Church family. Costs within the AWANA program for books and shirts are waived, thanks to the support provided by our Church family through generous donations. Each year we accept donations to supply our AWANA store, an incentive program that was created to reward our program attendees for the number of Bible verses and book work they complete each week. AWANA members have the ability to earn "AWANA Bucks" which can then be used in the store to purchase wonderful gifts for the whole family! |
